I needed a birthday gift for Jeanne for today and I thought she would appreciate something handmade. I absolutely love this note card set with matching storage box. I chose SEI paper and made 6 cards total with matching envelopes. I saw this a tutorial for this gift set online and I just think the possibilities are endless. It took some time but I think if I had to do it again, I could do it pretty quickly. This would be a great class, don't you think???? I didn't do much stamping in this example (only one or two things) but really all the cards could be beautifully stamped and we could really have an awesome stamped project at the end.
So here are the pictures. Note that I made two of each of the three cards shown for a total of 6 cards with 6 matching envelopes. Can you tell I love the envelopes?????

Two More Stampavie Class Samples
So, as promised, here are two more samples for the class on the 28th. I will post one or two more samples as I create. These stamps are SO CUTE, the cards are super fun to make!!
I went into Stamp Works yesterday to drop off the three samples I have so far so they are available to see close up in the store now too. I just love going to the store. . .Isn't it the best?? I looked at all the awesome new inventory, bought some goodies for class, and had a great chat with Nic. The perfect Saturday afternoon since my hubby was at work.
Hope you enjoy the cards.
See you soon!!

Happy Birthday Hubby
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A CLASS SAMPLE.
It was Tyler's birthday last week and while he always loves my cards, I wanted to give him a little surprise. Stamping isn't always quite so innocent nowadays. I came across this image and I thought it was perfect. Tyler loved it and we both had a good laugh.

If you can't read it, the background paper is stamped with a "Hey Sexy" sentiment from My Favorite Things. "Make a Wish" is by the same company. The main image is by Bugaboo Stamps. The large dot and mini confetti dots are both from Stamps by Judith. I used Copics to color the image.
Have a great day everyone.
