Paper Vineyard Design Team Challenge: Spooky Grapevine Designs Custom Album

Hi Everyone-

Here is my latest creation for the Paper Vineyard Design team:

Our challenge was to create a mini album using one of the brand new custom Grapevine Designs mini albums Adriana has been creating for the store. DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THAT SPOOKY TREE? That's chip board cut using a laser cutting machine right in the store. Adriana is taking custom orders for albums but also already has an array on display at the front of the store.

So here's the details on this Halloween scene. . .I used all We R Memory Keepers Spookville paper, chip board and stamps. I also used the Fiskars Grass border punch and Spellbinders Graveyard Scene and Shapes set (airbrushed with Copics). I added Crystal Lacquer to the polka dots on the background paper and black glitter to the tree. So much fun!!

Paper Smooches Stamp Class by Kelly Wann plus a chance to be charitable!!!

SEPTEMBER 3rd AT STAMP WORKS @ 1PM...It's finally happening. . .Paper Smooches, my favorite new stamp company, is coming to the shelves of Stamp Works. I can't wait to share these fun loving and super creative images with you in the classroom. So, to celebrate this glorious occasion, I thought I would do something a bit different in class. I will be designing 7 CARDS for this class instead of my normal 5 cards. What's the catch? At the end of class, I will be asking you to donate 2 (that's right--just 2) of the 7 cards (you choose which cards) to a charity supported by Paper Smooches called "Card Cupids". This charity sends cards to children that are sick or in difficult life situations to help put smiles on their little faces. The price is the same as a regular 5 card class ($25), I just need your great card making skills to put together a nice big package of cards to send to this charity.

Card Class at Paper Vineyard Monday August 22nd

Hi Everyone-

So I should absolutely be in bed right now considering I need to wake up at 4:30 or so. . .
The problem is I fell asleep on the couch for three hours this afternoon. Boy am I gonna pay for that tomorrow.

Anyway, I wanted to do a quick post with card samples for my class at Paper Vineyard on Monday August 22nd from 5:30-9:00pm.

These cards were SUPER FUN to make and I can't wait to share them with you.

Halloween In August

Hi Everyone-

Well it has been quite a while since I made a card that wasn't necessarily part of a class. Even though I LOVE designing for my classes, it was rather liberating to design a few cards without thinking to myself "I love this idea but can I get my hands on 12 more of these pieces of paper or amazing chip board pieces." I also took a hiatis from my Copics and used Prisma color pencils with Oderless Mineral Spirits to color the witch image below. Not only that, I challenged myself not to use stamps on the 2nd and 3rd card below. I really went outside the norm this time, didn't I??!!

These cards are for the Paper Vineyard Design Team challenge for this week which is "Halloween in August". WHAT A GREAT IDEA, HUH? I love Halloween and to me whether it's August, October, or January. . .It's always a good time to make a Halloween card.

All the cards were made with the new We R Memory Keepers Line at Paper Vineyard. SO CUTE. I couldn't stay away from it. Hop on over to the Paper Vineyard blog in the next couple days to see more designs from the rest of the team.

Beach Time Fun in the Sun Class at Stamp Works Saturday August 6th

Hi Everyone-

I just wanted to give you a quick sneak peek at this Saturday's class at Stamp Works. . .

Penny Black has come out with a BRAND NEW set of stamps featuring their famous little starlet Mimi. The images are all about summer fun and days at the beach. We will be creating 5 cutie pie cards using these SUPER ADORABLE images. This class is a great way to practice with Copics (I provide the markers for use in class) and get ideas for some new card layouts. Come join me for some summer fun!!
