Cutie Patootie Sample #5

Hi Everyone-

Here is the last sample for next Saturday's Penny Black Cutie Patootie class:

If class wasn't just limited to 3 hours (probably 3 1/2 for this class), I would just keep making cards for you. I can't get enough of these stamps and I still have images I didn't use!!!! I am sure you will see more of my handiwork with these stamps soon.

I look forward to seeing everyone Saturday at Stamp Works. Call the store at 480-899-5958, if you would like to reserve a spot.

Happy Stamping!!

My Halloween Box-Stamping Royalty Challenge #41, Creative Craft Challenges, and 2Sisters Challenge Blog

Here I am again today. . .Can you believe it???

I wanted to share my Halloween treat box in the Stamping Royalty Challenge this week, the Creative Craft Challenge, and the 2Sisters Challenge. I had so much fun making the box (after I figured out the correct template). I hope others enjoy it too.

Happy Stamping!!

Crazy4Challenges #C4C59

Hi Everyone-

Thought I would join this week's Crazy4Challenges Autumn Card Challenge.

A card using stamps from Denami Design. It's almost impossible to see in the picture but I used Crystal Lacquer to coat each of the main image squares after I colored them so that they look like tiles. It really gives the card a different look. Check it out for yourself:

It should look familiar to those of you that took my Fall Denami class last month.

Everyone have a great weekend!!

Happy Stamping!

One More Cutie Patootie Sample & Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge

Hi Everyone-

Here is another sample for my Penny Black Cutie Patootie class next Saturday, October 23rd at Stamp Works in Chandler. The cost is $25 and the class has 5 cards total. Two cards are Christmas/ Winter themed and the others are everyday cards that you probably won't want to give away after you make them. I know I never want to give my cards away. I need to get over it, right?!!

Enjoy the new sample and check out the blog later this week for the last sample. If you missed the previous post with samples for this class,
you can see them here.

A Day In the Garden

Hi Everyone-

I know that I have mentioned in class that I joined a community garden in Gilbert, AZ and that I would be working hard to get all the "crops" planted in October. Well, it finally happened this Sunday. My whole family was involved including my Mom, my sister Colleen, my niece Mackenzie, my nephew Josh, and, of course the main gardener, my hubby Tyler.

I don't think my Mom has ever even stepped foot in a garden and certainly never had any intention of getting actually dirty in this whole gardening endeavor that I signed her up for. Same pretty much goes for the rest of my family. On the other hand, I thought I would be a SUPER GARDENER, that is until I fell into a back bend position over one of the garden beds. Yep, that's right, I fell backwards off the "garden chair" that was supposed to make the job so much easier but instead it almost killed me!!!!!!!! My family said I screamed like I was in a horror movie. Instead of helping me up, they were all laughing hysterically except for my 14 year old niece who immediately starting taking pictures and texting them to everyone she knows. NICE, HUH???

I have attached a nice peaceful picture that my husband took of us but I am not sharing the one of me on my back, no one will ever see that picture again if I can help it.

All in all, we had a great time and then went back to my parents' house where my Dad had lunch ready for us. He was smart enough not to join us for the dirty part.

More stamping stuff soon. I am getting over a virus this week so production has all but stopped since the weekend.

Happy Stamping!!

Cutie Patootie Class Samples

Hi Everyone-

I have been working hard to put my stamping room back together after the "Denami Spectacular" because by the time I had everything cut, packed, and ready to go, my whole house looked like a tornado hit it. By the way, I HAD THE BEST TIME and I would do it over again in a minute.

So over the last week, I have actually been working on my projects again. YIPPIEE!!!!!! I missed it!
So I have created 3 of the 5 cards for my class at Stamp Works on Saturday, October 23rd.

Here is the class description from the newsletter:

Penny Black “Cutie Patooties” with Kelly
1:00pm – 4:00pm $25
Have you seen the lates Mimi and Betsy Bluebell images by Penny Black?AMAZING!!! I just couldn’t resist---I have put together a 5-card class using these new super sweet “Cutie Patootie” little girl images. This class will be a mix of three all occasion cards and two Christmas cards (I can’t believe it’s that time of year again!) Come join us for some fun. It is sure to be INK-CREDIBLE!

Here are some pics of my first few creations for the class:

My cupcake creation. . .I am really liking shaped cards lately. This one is really easy to put together and super fun to make.

Here is Betsy Bluebell delivering presents for a birthday:

This is Mimi starring in one of the two Christmas cards we will be creating in this class. It was so much fun finding the perfect green combo to perfectly shade the Christmas tree. I used flocking for the white on Mimi's outfit and Crystal Lacquer on the ornaments for a 3D effect. SUPER FUN!!!

If you are interested in signing up, give Nic at Stamp Works a call at 480-899-5958 and reserve your spot. I hope to see you all there!!!

Happy Stamping!!
